If you are considering working in a chalet as a couple there are a number of benefits to it. Let’s take a look at a few of them.

See More of Each Other – If you both work in hospitality in the UK it can be difficult to carve out that quality time for each other due to different shift patterns and different job locations. You’ll be able to spend more time together, both working and off-shift.

A High Functioning Team –As a couple you have chosen to spend your life together and with this in mind you make a good team. This can translate to the chalet, knowing each other’s strengths and weaknesses and what to say to make things better when things are tough.

Go Skiing Together – The downtime as a couple working in a ski chalet is amazing. You’ll get to have an extended stay in a beautiful part of the world and enjoy skiing together during your time off.


Job Opportunities with Ski Blanc

We are currently looking for couples to come and work for us at the outstanding ski resort of Meribel, the largest ski area in the world. We have 6 chalets, each run by couples and we would be looking for one person to act as the Chalet Chef with commercial kitchen experience, cooking consistently high standard, and one person to act as the Chalet Host.

You will prepare and serve breakfast for your guests, bake a delicious cake for afternoon tea and serve a 3-course meal in the evening. Alongside this you will be responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of your chalet. All admin and paperwork is undertaken by us to take the strain away from you.
